Meet the Director

Adam Schroeder started teaching in the Edwardsville school district in 2019 as the beginning band director at Columbus and Woodland. He has been a part of the Edwardsville Marching Tigers staff since 2015. He is also an alumni of the Edwardsville school district. Go Tigers!

Mr. Schroeder graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville with a bachelors in Music Education and Music History. He has presented at Northwestern University and is an active member of Phi Mu Alpha Music Fraternity, American Musicological Society, and the National Association for Music Educators. He's assisted with a variety of music programs in the area, such as Staunton, Oakville, Bethalto, and Central schools. He is an active performer in the St. Louis area, ranging from groups such as Band Together STL to SIUE Summer Musicals.
